Network Infrastructure Support Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Network Infrastructure Support Specialist will provide advanced technical support for network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for clients.

In Short

• Provide 2nd level and above technical network infrastructure support.
• Resolve incidents and service requests for network-related tickets.
• Adhere to Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Conduct monthly or quarterly patching and health checks on network systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledgebase articles.
• Perform onsite maintenance and troubleshooting when required.
• Provide recommendations for improvements in network infrastructure.
• Attend customer meetings and contribute to reports.
• Work with the monitoring team to ensure best practices are followed.
• Be available for escalated enquiries or tickets.

Requirements

• 5+ years in an infrastructure support role specializing in network support.
• Current CCNP (or equivalent) certification.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies (Fortinet, Cisco, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet products.
• Experience working within the ITIL framework.
• At least 2 other network vendor certifications is desirable.
• Linux/Unix experience is a plus.
