Network Support Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Network Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the delivery of support services to newly onboarded customers, focusing on network installation and troubleshooting.

In Short

• Collaborate with Installers and Project Managers on network implementations.
• Address concerns of newly onboarded properties during installation.
• Perform Post Install Checks (PIC) and follow up on any issues.
• Monitor and ensure the completion of PICs.
• Ensure tools are available for property staff.
• Work with Field Technicians to troubleshoot installation issues.
• Coordinate training with property staff for tools and orientation.
• Ensure all devices are set up and monitored in the NMS.

Requirements

• 2 years of hands-on experience with Networking.
• Experience in switching.
• Proficiency in configuring Layer 2 devices (e.g., VLANs, WLANs).
• Ability to subnet in Layer 3.
• Experience with satellite television (preferred).
• CCNA certification (preferred).
• Meraki ECMS Certification (mandatory upon hiring).
• Experience in BPO with inbound and outbound calls.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
• Proven experience in a NOC or technical support role.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
