Overview

The Network Support Specialist will be responsible for managing network issues, vendor communications, and ensuring compatibility with Hilton standards.

In Short

  • TAC Calls- Call Aruba Supports to report an issue
  • Reaching out to vendors for X Information and maybe even moving vendor over to new network- gather vendor network requirements, move over to new network test/troubleshoot as needed
  • PDCS- building out Meraki Dashboard Config to be compatible with Hilton Standards
  • Wireless/Wires CRs- Setup Wireless/Wired Connection Rooms for Hilton TV solution
  • IPWs- Documentation
  • Conf tool screenshots- Documentation
  • Snap Imports/Port Forwards- Device Information and management
  • RF Review- heatmap review and relay any information to the engineer
  • RMAs- reach out to support for that vendor to replace a defective device

Requirements

  • Experience with network troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Meraki Dashboard
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors
  • Knowledge of wireless and wired network setups
