Overview

The Customer Support Technician is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and support to end-users by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding customers through corrective steps.

In Short

  • Deliver excellent customer service and support via email, phone, or live web session.
  • Interact with customers to process information regarding inquiries and requests.
  • Follow up with customers and escalate priority issues as needed.
  • Gather customer information and document troubleshooting steps effectively.
  • Research information using available resources and maintain case documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance knowledge sharing.
  • Adhere to standard processes and case management policies.
  • Stay updated with system information and software changes.
  • Potential for overtime work on an on-call rotation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least an Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a support technician.
  • 4 years of experience preferred, supporting multiple environments.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification is a plus.
