Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is proficient in developing, testing and supporting .NET Core solutions utilizing Azure SQL database in an Azure environment. This role involves collaborating with an established Software Engineering team and assisting in the development and support of one of Confluence’s larger solutions.

In Short

Develop and maintain .NET applications, emphasizing backend services.
Develop and maintain database schema, write complex SQL queries, and tune existing statements.
Deploy and oversee applications on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Design, implement and document microservices using established patterns.
Adhere to design patterns and coding standards.
Contribute to Agile development processes.
Provide production support and suggest enhancements.

Requirements

7+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development.
5+ years in SQL experience with Azure SQL.
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure.
Experience with containerized workload development.
Experience leading a team and making design decisions.
Excellent standard of written and spoken English.
