Overview

The Manager, Consumer Insights, plays a critical role in translating consumer, shopper, and market insights into clear business actions across Conair’s Beauty & Home Care portfolio.

In Short

  • Lead primary research initiatives, including concept testing and shopper journey mapping.
  • Translate business questions into effective research designs and actionable outputs.
  • Manage external research vendors ensuring quality, speed, and value.
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources into clear insights.
  • Deliver insights with a strong “So What / Now What” orientation.
  • Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Product, and Sales to influence strategy.
  • Monitor and identify emerging consumer and shopper trends.
  • Help shape the broader insights roadmap in alignment with business priorities.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills for leadership communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in consumer insights or shopper research.
  • Experience managing primary research end-to-end.
  • Strong skills in survey design and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with shopper journey mapping and segmentation.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
