FTZ Specialist - Remote

Overview

The FTZ Specialist supports the Customs Manager in ensuring Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) compliance and adherence to U.S. Customs and Trade regulations. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and external customs brokers to maintain compliance, support FTZ operations, and ensure the accuracy of FTZ entries, import documentation and systems data.

In Short

• Audit customs entries for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with customs brokers.
• Respond to customs broker inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist with the development of Customs Compliance Manuals and SOPs.
• Assist the Customs Manager with product classification.
• Review material master requests for correct tariff classifications.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of experience in product classification and customs compliance.
• Experience with FTZ operations and regulations.
• Experience with consumer goods commodities.
• Demonstrated experience with Section 232 tariffs.
• Working knowledge of ACE.
