Intake Specialist - Remote

Overview

As an Intake Specialist, you will be a key point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in the intake and patient admission process, providing exemplary care while being sensitive to their individual psychiatric conditions.

In Short

• Answer incoming patient and parent phone calls
• Explain all Compass programs
• Schedule appointments for new and existing patients
• Obtain detailed patient demographic and insurance information
• Perform data entry of patient information
• Handle various administrative tasks
• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Support patients during specified hours
• Participate in onsite training for 3 weeks
• Work remotely after training

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
• Spanish skills are desirable
• Previous administrative or customer service experience
• Medical/insurance office experience is a plus
• Ability to handle sensitive patient situations
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
