Project Accountant - 3rd Party Asset Management - Remote

Overview

Exus Renewables North America is a next-generation Independent Power Producer that develops, owns, and operates renewable energy assets while providing world class asset management services for over 5 GW of renewable energy assets to third parties.

In Short

• Assist in the management of day-to-day accounting activities per client/project.
• Partner with manager on monthly/quarterly management financial reporting.
• Develop internal policies and processes for accounting operations.
• Complete the accounting month-end/year-end close process.
• Prepare and manage all journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare internal budgets and forecasts for each client/project.
• Complete other duties as assigned with the accounting and finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 3+ years of public or private industry experience required.
• Solid technical knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong proficiency in accounting and financial principles.
• Experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Experience in renewable energy project development preferred.
