Director of Construction - Wind - Remote

Overview

Exus Renewables North America is a next-generation Independent Power Producer that develops, owns, and operates renewable energy assets (Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage) while providing world-class asset management services for over 5 GW of renewable energy assets to third parties. The Director of Construction - Wind will be responsible for the initial set-up of protocols on renewable projects undergoing final development and moving into engineering, procurement, and construction.

In Short

• Assist with preparing and maintaining cost data for projects.
• Implement contractual agreements and permit requirements.
• Work with directors, project managers, and site managers.
• Mentor direct reports and evaluate performance.
• Oversee engineering contractors and coordinate documentation.
• Make recommendations on project contracts.
• Chair turnover meetings for new projects.
• Set up management protocols for construction projects.
• Ensure support from third parties for project milestones.
• Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management required.
• 10+ years of experience in construction/engineering.
• Experience from groundbreaking to project turnover.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and manage teams.
• Experience leading projects valued over $50 million.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
