Director of Development - Renewables - Remote

We are a growing, global partnership with offices in Europe, North America, and South America.

In Short

• Direct and oversee active development of renewable energy projects.
• Focus on solar and wind projects in the Eastern USA.
• Manage project budgets and schedules.
• Oversee external contractors and consultants.
• Lead project development including permitting and community engagement.
• Generate internal reports on project status.
• Identify new growth opportunities.
• Coordinate across various departments.
• Perform due diligence on development acquisitions.
• Support project finance and permitting submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field; master's preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in a Director level or similar position.
• Knowledge of federal and state permitting processes.
• Familiarity with project development in PJM, MISO, NYISO.
• Strong track record in wind, solar, and/or storage development.
• Experience managing remote teams and contractors.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
• Ability to travel to Pittsburgh headquarters monthly if not located there.
