In Short

• Build and lead the first Applied AI Team at Compa.
• Own and shape the application of machine learning across products and internal systems.
• Contribute hands-on to ML projects while building a high-performing team.
• Work closely with the Co-founder & CTO to define technical vision and success metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Responsible for end-to-end ownership of applied AI initiatives.
• Engage in model development, MLOps, and infrastructure alignment.
• Lead the design of organizational processes for AI initiatives.
• Focus on shipping production-grade ML systems.
• Work in a remote-friendly environment with a preference for candidates near specific offices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in ML or Applied AI teams.
• Experience shipping production ML models.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and a builder mindset.
• Familiarity with modern ML tooling and MLOps practices.
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to create and scale processes in a fast-paced environment.
