Forward Deployed Engineering Manager - Remote

Overview

As CommerceIQ’s first Forward Deployed Engineering Manager, you will partner closely with our founders and the AI Product Manager to prototype and deploy AI‑driven solutions that solve our customers’ most pressing problems.

In Short

• Lead and grow a team of Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs).
• Build prototypes with customers to address real-world problems.
• Integrate data and create new AI agents from various sources.
• Own AI outcomes through customer demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop robust features from prototypes.
• Support customer engagements from pre-sales to post-deployment.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and communicate technical concepts.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficient in Python or Java.
• Full-stack and data integration skills.
• Strong communication skills for customer-facing roles.
• Experience in rapid prototyping and delivering minimal-viable solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively across global teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
