Overview

As an Account Manager at Becker Professional Education, you will lead client engagement and sales efforts within an assigned territory. This high-impact role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to both nurturing existing relationships and generating new business through strategic outreach and prospecting.

In Short

  • Execute all elements of a proactive local marketing and sales strategy.
  • Create and execute account-specific strategies for assigned and prospective accounts.
  • Prospect and develop professional relationships with potential and existing customers.
  • Communicate and report progress and activity to leadership.
  • Drive enrollments and revenue on university campuses.
  • Establish and maintain a Campus Ambassador Program.
  • Identify opportunities for academic partnerships.
  • Assist with negotiations of contractual agreements.
  • Drive revenue growth at firms, corporations, and government agencies.
  • Be a self-starter with a proactive mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least three years experience in marketing, sales, or direct customer service preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Confident public speaker, comfortable presenting to large audiences.
  • Enjoys meeting new people and being out of the office.
  • General PC and Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Ability to learn new programs a plus.
  • Must be able to lift 30 to 40 lbs.
  • Must have reliable transportation and cover related travel expenses.
