Overview

The Senior Controller will lead the accounting and tax departments in Brazil, ensuring compliance with fiscal and regulatory responsibilities while optimizing operational processes.

In Short

Oversee monthly accounting close and financial statements.
Ensure correct calculation and collection of taxes.
Coordinate submission of regulatory obligations.
Lead transition of processes from BPO to in-house.
Conduct feasibility studies to optimize tax burden.
Manage accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow.
Implement financial control tools.
Establish internal controls and prepare for audits.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting with active CRC.
5+ years of experience in accounting and tax management.
Knowledge of the Real Profit regime.
Experience in fintechs or financial technology companies.
Familiarity with corporate structures and reporting.
Advanced Excel skills.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
