Research Internship - Remote

Overview

Cohere is on a mission to scale intelligence to serve humanity by training and deploying frontier models for AI systems. We are looking for a Research Intern to collaborate with our team on innovative research ideas and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art models.

In Short

Requirements

• Pursuing or obtaining a PhD in Machine Learning, NLP, or related fields.
• Work authorization eligibility in the country of employment.
• Experience with distributed training and ML models.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python, C, C++, or Lua.
• Knowledge of ML frameworks such as JAX, Pytorch, and Tensorflow.
• Previous experience in machine learning systems is advantageous.
• Passion for applied NLP models and products.
• Demonstrated expertise through publications is preferred.
• Ability to tackle analytical problems using quantitative methods.
• Experience in applying research to real-world problems.
