Overview

Cohere seeks a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join the budget planning, forecasting, and spend management team that covers multiple high-impact areas. This role will serve as a key finance partner to business units, providing actionable insights to drive smarter decisions and optimal financial controls.

In Short

• Assist in building and maintaining department-level budgets and company-wide forecasts.
• Develop dynamic financial models to evaluate business scenarios and investment opportunities.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and analyze variances between actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support.
• Leverage financial systems to ensure data accuracy and improve reporting efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A with emphasis on budget management.
• Expert level Excel/Google Sheets financial modeling skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver change and drive efficiency.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
