MLOps Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

Cohere is on a mission to scale intelligence to serve humanity by training and deploying frontier models for AI systems. The MLOps Software Engineer will contribute to building critical infrastructure for the success of Cohere.

In Short

• Build self-service systems for managing and deploying services.
• Work with custom Kubernetes operators for language model deployments.
• Automate environment observability and resilience.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure SLOs are met.
• Develop strong relationships with internal developers.
• Engage in knowledge sharing and active review processes.

Requirements

• Proven production experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience managing GPU-accelerated workloads in Kubernetes.
• Hands-on coding experience with Go and Python.
• Experience scaling and debugging cloud-based infrastructure.
• Motivated by building systems that enhance productivity.
