Overview

Code.org is an education innovation nonprofit dedicated to the vision that every student in every school has the opportunity to learn computer science and artificial intelligence as part of their core K-12 education. We expand access to and participation in computer science in schools, with a focus on increasing participation by young women and students from other underrepresented groups.

In Short

• Join Code.org’s Research, Evaluation, and Data (RED) Team as a Senior Data Analyst.
• Lead analytics workstreams and define data models and metrics.
• Continuously improve data pipelines for scalability and sustainability.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ask critical questions and provide insights.
• Own analytics projects from conception to execution.
• Build and optimize the analytics layer in dbt.
• Identify trends and drivers in metrics.
• Serve as a strategic partner to end-user teams.
• Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical leaders.
• Passion for driving equity in Computer Science and AI education.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or analytics.
• Experience with SQL and dbt for data pipeline management.
• Strong documentation and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to creatively approach problems and find solutions.
• Experience with AWS cloud resources is preferred.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Willingness to travel for team events.
