Overview

The successful Territory Sales Manager will have a strong background in technical sales within the CAE, CFD and CAM Engineering sector and will be responsible for identifying business growth opportunities and driving profitable sales for our targeted business segments.

In Short

  • Conducting all sales and support activities in the territory.
  • Identifying sales prospects and developing a sales strategy for each Sales Opportunity.
  • Preparing product/pricing proposals and negotiating directly with customers.
  • Meeting quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Reporting on activities, results, and forecasting.
  • Helping to develop promotional material related to Software and Engineering Services.
  • Assisting with payments and accounts receivables from customers.
  • Interacting with management and other departments to achieve objectives.
  • Performing various other sales-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • A four-year degree in an Engineering or related technical field.
  • Three years of relevant sales or sales support experience for CAE, CFD, and/or CAM products.
  • A strong background in technical sales for the turbomachinery industry is desirable.
  • Direct exposure to the design and manufacturing of pumps, compressors, or turbines is highly desirable.
  • A team player with a positive outlook and strong customer focus.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and sales automation tools.
  • An energetic, proactive approach with a desire to advance within the company.
