Manufacturing Sales Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Manufacturing Sales Engineer serves as the primary point of contact between customers and internal manufacturing operations, responsible for managing the full lifecycle of customer orders from initial quotation through final delivery.

In Short

• Manage the RFQ process and customer records in CRM.
• Process incoming customer purchase orders and maintain order packages.
• Execute order entry and release in the ERP system.
• Participate in weekly backlog review meetings.
• Prepare and distribute order status reports to customers.
• Serve as a dispositioning authority for non-conforming products.
• Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with internal teams.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; Technical or Vocational education preferred.
• Experience in precision manufacturing or customer-facing roles.
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of GD&T, precision machining, and engineering drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
