CAE Applications Engineer - Remote

Overview

The CAE Applications Engineer will be responsible for supporting and promoting the Concepts NREC Agile suite of turbomachinery design software to current and prospective clients.

In Short

• Assume role as the primary technical contact for the CAE software product suite.
• Assist regional sales managers with technical support activities throughout the sales cycle.
• Create and utilize a rigorous suite of design cases for QA testing.
• Create videos, tutorials, and exercises for CAE software features.
• Maintain a library of presentations demonstrating software capabilities.
• Verify and test bug fixes and product enhancements.
• Perform technical validation for customers.
• Assist in product development by gathering customer feedback.
• Support customer training activities.
• Compile technical knowledge-based articles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1-2 years of applications engineering experience.
• 1-3 years of engineering design and analysis experience preferred.
• Global travel up to 20% of working time.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work on a team and meet deadlines.
• Goal and detail-oriented.
