Director of Finance - Remote

Overview

Clever is looking for a Director of Finance to own the accounting function from top to bottom, supporting the launch of new products and international growth through the setup of new finance processes.

In Short

• Assist CFO in leading annual budget, reforecasts, and long-term plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
• Monitor company financial performance against business objectives.
• Communicate financial performance, trends, and risks to leadership.
• Collaborate with People Operations on annual compensation reviews.
• Develop KPI dashboards for sales performance monitoring.
• Provide financial analysis to support decision making.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage corporate risk and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA preferred.
• 10 years of progressive finance experience with 5 years in a senior role.
• Familiarity with Netsuite and data analytics tools.
• Experience in scaling finance operations in a high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS business models and financial dynamics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in a company with annual revenue over $75 million.
