We started by building a powerful network for communication. ClassDojo’s flagship app is the #1 communication app connecting K-12 teachers, children, and families globally. Teachers use it to share what’s happening throughout the day through photos, videos, and messages that make parents feel like they’re there. It’s actively used in over 95% of US schools, reaching over 45 million children in 180 countries, with a team of just around 200 people. We are now beginning to use this network to give kids the best learning experiences in the world, far beyond those a standard school can provide.

One of those experiences is Dojo Tutor, which connects kids with caring, experienced teachers for 1:1 tutoring sessions that boost their skills and confidence. We’re already operating at a large scale and regularly hear from families and tutors about how Dojo Tutor is changing kids’ and tutors’ lives for the better. But we’re just getting started—and we have ambitious goals for growing Dojo Tutor’s reach and impact this year and beyond.

• Own and optimize core programs and processes for the Tutor business.
• Define and hit clear, business-critical targets.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in complex program optimization.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable results.
• Strong analytical skills, including SQL proficiency.
• Ability to iterate and improve processes.
• Experience in tech-enabled businesses.
• Familiarity with user insights and storytelling is a plus.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Bias for action and iterative improvement.
• Experience in education or consumer internet companies is desirable.
