Overview

The Supervising Investigator will oversee a team of investigators responsible for auditing Department-registered course providers that deliver construction safety training.

In Short

• Manage a caseload of investigations.
• Perform audits of Course Providers registered with the Department.
• Advise subordinates on investigative strategies.
• Conduct case reviews and oversee interviews.
• Supervise and conduct fieldwork including surveillance.
• Intake and review complaints using databases.
• Write detailed narrative reports.
• Testify at administrative hearings and criminal trials.
• Cooperate with investigative bodies.
• Issue criminal summonses when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with five years of experience as an investigator.
• Associate degree or 60 credits with four years of experience.
• Baccalaureate degree with two years of experience.
• Equivalent education/experience considered.
