Senior Customer Service Representative - Remote

Overview

The NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) is seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative to join the Intake team, responsible for processing license applications and providing high-volume customer service.

In Short

• Review and process DCWP license applications.
• Perform clerical work including data processing functions.
• Check records for accuracy and conformity with policies.
• Monitor and coach other staff.
• Provide high-volume customer service in person and via phone.
• Assist applicants with outreach to other city agencies.
• Answer calls, emails, and written correspondence.
• Attend seminars, meetings, and trainings.
• Follow division and agency policies and procedures.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• A four-year high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of satisfactory clerical experience.
• Keyboard familiarity with typing at a minimum of 100 key strokes per minute.
