Overview

The Director of Audit Support will lead the program audit efforts at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation Development, ensuring compliance and efficiency in audits related to housing programs.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree with 24 credits in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Five years of experience in management or financial auditing.
• Experience in an administrative or managerial capacity.
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage complex projects and timelines.
• Interest in improving government practices for affordable housing.
• Ability to investigate processes and develop solutions.
• Experience in public or nonprofit agencies preferred.
• Valid CPA License or Certified Internal Auditor certificate preferred.
