Overview

The NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist licensing applicants with their inquiries and provide clerical support.

In Short

• Perform clerical work including complex data processing functions.
• Check records for accuracy and conformity with policies.
• Process payments and perform mathematical computations.
• Provide high-volume customer service in person and via phone.
• Assist applicants with outreach to other city agencies.
• Answer calls, emails, and written correspondence.

Requirements

• A four-year high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of satisfactory clerical experience.
• Keyboard familiarity with a typing speed of at least 100 keystrokes per minute.
