Contract and Procurement Officer - Remote

Overview

The City’s Parking Management, Facilities, and Capital Projects Unit is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented staff analyst level 2 to support operational and procurement activities across the City’s municipal parking garages.

In Short

• Support contract administration by tracking milestones and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external units on documentation and invoicing.
• Assist in performance monitoring of garage operator contracts.
• Prepare procurement documentation for engineering materials.
• Maintain procurement tracking databases and support inventory control.
• Assist with budget documentation and personnel matters.
• Participate in data entry and document control tasks.
• Work closely with engineers, inspectors, and garage operators.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability practices.
• Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Requirements

• Master's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
• Two years of professional experience in related areas.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience in contract administration and procurement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data entry and management.
• Understanding of sustainability initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must reside in NYC for the first two years of employment.
