Overview

The IT Department at the City of New York’s Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH) is seeking a systems architect/developer to provide software support for the Agency’s adjudications systems.

In Short

  • Coordinate periodic maintenance for all software within the application stack.
  • Perform corrections and updates to code and data as needed.
  • Ensure accuracy and distribution of reports and correspondence.
  • Design and develop new UI screens.
  • Integrate user-defined rules into the application.
  • Manage electronic data transmissions.
  • Hybrid office/remote work schedule available after training.
  • Work with various city agencies and boards.
  • Provide strategic software support.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of adjudication systems.

Requirements

  • Professional/vendor certifications required.
  • Master's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • 12 months of specialized experience in application development.
  • Baccalaureate degree with 24 months of experience accepted.
  • High school diploma with 24 months of specialized experience and 48 months of IT experience accepted.
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to the above is acceptable.
  • Experience in security management and performance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of web development and design.
  • Familiarity with technical writing and version control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
