Overview

The Java Lead Developer will play a critical role in the design, build, and maintenance of back-end data processing solutions for the Institutional Client Group at Citi. This senior position involves taking ownership of key projects, guiding junior developers, and ensuring compliance with best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Lead hands-on development of strategic reference data platforms

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in application development
• Experience leading technical teams
• Solid understanding of application infrastructures
• Working knowledge of Unix and shell scripting
• Experience with AWS Cloud Solutions
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
