Lead Java Developer - Remote

Overview

The Lead Java Developer role involves taking technical responsibility and leading a small team in a dynamic environment focused on Legal & Finance Tech.

• Develop robust software solutions using Spring Boot, Vaadin, React, or Thymeleaf.
• Lead and coach a small team of developers.
• Contribute to software architecture with a focus on scalability and clean code.
• Conduct code reviews and establish best practices.

• Bring new ideas related to AI/LLMs, DevOps, or architectural questions.

Requirements

• Strong Java skills with a focus on Spring Boot.
• Proficient in Vaadin, React, or Thymeleaf for frontend development.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle, and ORMs like Hibernate.
• Willingness to take responsibility and coach others.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and GitLab.
• Fluent in German (at least C1) and solid English skills.
