Product Engineer, Data Focus - Remote

Overview

The Product Data Engineer position is an integral addition to our Product Data and Engineering team, focusing on transforming product data and data management processes.

In Short

• Work directly with Window and Door products.
• Collaborate across Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Assist with reviewing and implementing Bills of Materials.
• Manage data and product changes through the Engineering Change Process.
• Interact with CAD systems to confirm design information accuracy.
• Provide technical product data support to various teams.
• Maintain product documentation and ensure accuracy of technical information.
• Ensure maintenance of required product certifications.
• Develop knowledge of new trends in the fenestration industry.
• Minimal travel required (<25%).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Some experience in product data management or related technical function preferred.
• Ability to manage engineering documentation and present technical information.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong communication skills across business functions.
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of CAD software and Smartsheet is a plus.
• Knowledge of fenestration products and building codes is a plus.
• Flexibility for remote and onsite work schedules.
