Manager/Senior Manager, SEC Reporting - Remote

This position is for a Manager/Senior Manager in SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting at a rapidly growing Gov-Tech and AI company. The role involves leading the external reporting function and providing technical accounting expertise.

In Short

• Own the preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K).
• Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures.
• Coordinate timelines and stakeholder reviews for filings.
• Research and document complex accounting matters under US GAAP.
• Lead accounting conclusions on revenue recognition and stock-based compensation.
• Serve as the point of contact for external auditors.
• Collaborate with various departments for accurate disclosures.
• Enhance SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Drive improvements in the reporting process.
• Assist in preparing financial information for investor relations.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA license.
• 6+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Experience in corporate SEC reporting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules.
• Experience preparing SEC forms (10-K, 10-Q).
• Strong communication skills.
