Collections Specialist - Remote

Overview

This role involves managing high-volume collections activities for an organization on a 3–5 month contract, in a fully remote setting.

In Short

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts for timely collections.
• Conduct outreach via calls and emails for past-due invoices.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and maintain collection notes.
• Resolve discrepancies including short payments and billing issues.
• Collaborate with billing, accounting, and operations teams.
• Apply and reconcile customer payments using Sage Intacct.
• Assist with AR-related month-end close activities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.
• Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct is required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills for professional conversations.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to manage a high-volume workload in a remote environment.
