GovCon Incurred Cost Submission (ICS) Consultant - Remote

Overview

This role is for an experienced Incurred Cost Submission (ICS) Consultant to support the preparation and filing of the FY2025 ICS for a government contracting firm.

In Short

• Remote position for a contract duration of approximately 1 month.
• Urgent project due to recent turnover in the finance team.
• Lead the preparation and submission of the FY2025 Incurred Cost Submission.
• Prepare and review required schedules including Schedules H, H-1, I, K.
• Extract and validate data from Unanet for ICS schedules.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DCAA, and GovCon reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with the internal finance team and part-time Accounting Manager.
• Navigate limited documentation due to recent turnover.

Requirements

• Recent hands-on experience preparing ICS filings for government contractors.
• Strong knowledge of GovCon accounting and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience with Unanet, including data extraction.
• Ability to lead ICS efforts independently under tight deadlines.
• Experience in lean or transitional environments preferred.
• High attention to detail and a track record of meeting deadlines.
