The Director of Human Resources is a strategic business partner to practice office leadership, responsible for driving initiatives that enhance the entire employee lifecycle. This role leads efforts in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, professional development, and compliance, ensuring HR strategies align with the firm’s business objectives and foster a high-performance culture.

• Partner with practice office leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business goals and improve the employee experience
• Design and implement comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract top talent
• Consult with managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of open positions
• Track and analyze key HR metrics to inform decision-making
• Support orientation programs and conduct regular check-ins
• Support offboarding processes and provide actionable insights
• Drive the performance management process from goal setting to evaluations
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and update policies as needed
• Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations
• Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of HR leadership experience in a law firm or professional services environment
• Proven expertise in talent management and HR strategy development
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or HR certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS systems
