Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive growth and expand market share for our premium charcuterie and specialty meat products across the Northeast U.S.

In Short

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to increase revenue and market penetration in the Northeast region.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including specialty retailers, restaurants, hospitality groups, and wholesalers.
  • Drive sales growth through strategic account management, prospecting, and relationship building.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing distributors and retail partners.
  • Identify, target, and onboard new customers within the foodservice, grocery, and specialty markets.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide product training, sampling, and promotional support.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in the charcuterie and specialty meat segment.
  • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to develop promotional campaigns and support product launches.
  • Partner with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in the food industry, preferably in charcuterie, specialty meats, or premium protein products.
  • Established network within distributors, specialty retailers, and foodservice providers in the Northeast.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop data-driven sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Northeast region.
  • Preferred: Experience working with premium food brands, artisanal products, or European-style charcuterie.
  • Understanding of category management and merchandising in the specialty food space.
  • Familiarity with trade shows, food exhibitions, and industry networking events.
