Senior HRIS Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Workday HRIS Analyst is our hands-on expert for making Workday work at scale. You’ll own configuration, optimization, and data integrity across the entire employee lifecycle, from first offer to last paycheck, and ensure Workday is a reliable, secure source of truth for Chainguard.

In Short

• Own Workday configuration end-to-end across multiple modules.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex issues.
• Design and maintain core Workday logic.
• Build reports, dashboards, and analytics for visibility.
• Support and optimize integrations with third-party vendors.
• Translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions.
• Lead testing and release management for updates.
• Manage HRIS work through Jira or similar tools.
• Create documentation and training materials.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of HRIS experience with Workday configuration.
• Strong expertise in Core HCM and at least two additional Workday areas.
• Experience leading cross-functional HR programs and projects.
• Advanced reporting skills with complex calculated fields.
• Understanding of HR data governance and compliance.
• Pragmatic problem-solver with operational range.
• Clear communicator who can influence stakeholders.
