Tax Manager - R&D Tax Credits - Remote

Overview

CFGI seeks a highly motivated tax manager to function in a fast-paced and technically challenging work environment, focusing on R&D tax credits and the Orphan Drug Credit.

In Short

• Lead R&D credit studies and oversee all related activities.
• Provide quality assurance on R&D projects and engagement reviews.
• Develop and sustain excellent client relationships.
• Conduct client meetings and serve as a lead point of contact.
• Assist with business development activities.
• Identify and evaluate technology solutions for efficiency.
• Support project managers in delivering engagements.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Strong research and analytical skills required.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines.

Requirements

• Four plus years of relevant public accounting or corporate tax experience.
• Significant exposure to R&D Tax Credit projects.
• Experience in Big-4 public accounting firms preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; master’s in taxation/CPA/JD preferred.
• Willingness to travel to local client sites.
