Overview

The Alliance is seeking a Senior Member Services Representative to join the Member Services Call Center Department, responsible for addressing complex member issues and providing high-quality customer service.

In Short

  • Responds to complex member issues.
  • Acts as a technical resource for Member Services Representatives.
  • Provides assistance to members and providers primarily by phone.
  • Participates in departmental work groups and special projects.
  • Works in a hybrid environment, on-site three days a week.
  • Passionate about high-quality customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to resolve member issues.
  • Familiar with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and managed health care.
  • Experience in a call center or member services setting.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and best practices.
  • Eligibility processes for Medi-Cal and public assistance programs.
  • Ability to answer calls promptly and minimize delays.
  • De-escalate complex situations and complaints.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four years of customer service experience, including two years in health care.
