Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. The Risk Management Lead – Home Health contributes to the success of Humana’s business strategy by supporting risk management initiatives across Home Solutions teams.

In Short

• Identifying strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks.
• Providing cost-effective recommendations on improvements and efficiencies.
• Partnering with stakeholders on risk initiatives related to Value-Based Purchasing Models.
• Serving as a subject matter expert for home health processes.
• Exercising independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors.
• Communicating effectively with senior and executive leadership.
• Managing multiple or competing priorities.
• Presenting opportunities for improvement to business partners.
• Utilizing MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for reporting.
• Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in auditing, process design/improvement, or risk management.
• Home health experience is required.
• Deep understanding of CMS Value-Based Purchasing Model.
• Knowledge of healthcare payer models.
• Successful track record in influencing and consulting across teams.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Advanced certifications such as CPA or CIA are preferred.
