Caseware is looking for a Software Development Manager to lead teams in building and operating a shared, enterprise-grade Data Platform that serves as the foundation for analytics and AI experiences.

• Lead delivery of the Data Platform product and technical roadmap.
• Manage a team of data and platform engineers.
• Collaborate with Product and domain SMEs to create platform roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure platform standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with observability, privacy, and security requirements.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
• Manage technical debt while balancing delivery and platform health.
• Hire and develop engineers, providing coaching and performance management.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of people management experience in software or data engineering.
• 8+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience with data ingestion pipelines and cloud-based platforms.
• Understanding of data lake architectures and data governance.
• Experience delivering cloud-native systems on AWS.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Strong English language skills.
