Overview

Caseware is seeking a proactive Incident Commander to manage incident response within our SaaS operations, ensuring effective communication and swift resolution during incidents.

In Short

  • Initiate and oversee incident response efforts in a 24/7 SaaS environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and product management.
  • Drive rapid incident resolution and communicate updates effectively.
  • Track and report uptime metrics to promote transparency.
  • Lead post-mortem sessions and document root causes and lessons learned.
  • Implement proactive strategies to reduce risks.
  • Provide comprehensive post-incident reports and RCA documents.
  • Ensure stakeholders are involved in active incidents for support.
  • Understand software and infrastructure landscape for resolution strategies.
  • Perform well under pressure with competing priorities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in managing critical incidents in SaaS environments.
  • Prior knowledge of Cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Experience in a similar role within a software or technology company.
  • Strong technical background in incident management and response.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in rapid incident resolution.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and PagerDuty integrations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
