Overview

The Incident Manager is responsible for owning the incident lifecycle, ensuring effective management of incidents in a 24/7/365 environment, and working closely with the help desk team to support system delivery.

In Short

  • Manage the incident lifecycle from detection to resolution.
  • Anticipate and address system issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with help desk for service interruption insights.
  • Document application performance and troubleshoot outages.
  • Provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
  • Support operational improvements and postmortem activities.
  • Utilize tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and ServiceNow.
  • Maintain applications in production and manage technical bugs.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a Secret clearance and relevant certifications.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a leadership role in operational environments.
  • Experience with system and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of incident response processes and SOPs.
  • Experience with Splunk and performance engineering of AWS applications.
  • SQL proficiency and technical report writing experience.
  • Possession of AWS Cloud Certification and ITIL Certification.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or DoD 8140 compliant Certification.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Secret clearance is mandatory.
