Overview

This role focuses on managing partnerships in arrangements that include total cost of care, sub-capitation cardiology models, and bundled payment agreements. The Value Based Care Account Manager will oversee external engagements, lead Joint Operating Committees, and ensure all contractual obligations and performance metrics are met.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners in value-based care arrangements.
  • Design and manage escalation and collaboration processes between Operators and external partners.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations Manager on program operations.
  • Coordinate Joint Operating Committee meetings to ensure alignment on goals.
  • Monitor contract performance and identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present performance updates to internal leadership and external partners.
  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or healthcare management required.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare account management or related field.

  • Experience in value-based care required.
  • Proven ability to manage complex partnerships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with specialty value-based care clinical operations.
