Loan Originator Assistant - Remote

Overview

The Loan Originator Assistant (LOA) supports Loan Originators in a sales environment, providing mortgage assistance and superior customer service to clients.

In Short

• Work alongside Loan Originators and Production Teams.
• Provide mortgage assistance and support to clients.
• Document client conversations in loan origination software.
• Communicate status updates and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist clients with the Origination system.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Process borrower documents accurately and timely.
• Schedule new leads and appointments with clients.
• Respond to client questions in a timely manner.
• Perform various research and administrative duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years experience in a Customer Service role preferred.
• 0-2 years experience in the Mortgage Industry preferred.
• Basic understanding of financial documents preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Encompass software is a plus.
• Ability to work closely within a team structure.
• Fast-paced individual with strong analytical skills.
