Loan Assistant - Remote

Overview

As a Loan Assistant, you will support the customer journey from application to funding, providing an overview of Knock’s products and programs, and assisting with seeing customers through to a successful closing.

In Short

• Assist with gathering required documentation for loan processing.
• Manage a pipeline of 30 loan closings per month.
• Complete Patriot Act based on customer ID.
• Ensure submission requirements are met before loan processing.
• Assist team members with borrower requests.
• Understand TRID for issuing disclosures and Loan Estimates.
• Experience with condo approval requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Work autonomously in a remote environment.
• Promote a culture that prioritizes customer service.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in mortgage operations.
• Active NMLS license or ability to acquire it within 90 days.
• Experience in Pacific or Mountain Time Zone.
• Familiarity with Encompass, Blend, and Google Suite.
• Comfortable with change in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and process-oriented.
