Overview

The Underwriting Specialist II position involves performing underwriting audits of new and existing non-large group customers, ensuring compliance with UW guidelines while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience as Underwriting Specialist I.
• Prior office/business experience, preferably in healthcare.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Enrollment & Billing, Marketing/Sales guidelines.
• Familiarity with Capital's organizational structure.
• Ability to learn new software programs.
• Basic mathematical and statistical knowledge.
• Experience in comparing documents and identifying inconsistencies.
