Regional HR Manager - EMEA - Remote

Teams meet two to four times yearly in person, in interesting locations around the world, to align on strategy and execution.

In Short

• Lead and scale Canonical’s regional HR team (1-4 direct reports, depending on region)
• Deliver precise and compliant HR operations in a timely manner and with the highest degree of accuracy
• Interact closely with Talent Science and Workplace Engineering teams
• Be accountable for HR processes such as talent development and performance assessments
• Work with senior managers on performance management and employee engagement
• Coach and advise people managers on employee relations issues
• Partner with people managers to support training and development programs
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
• Design new policies and deliver on HR related projects globally
• Present at Canonical events to articulate HR practices

Requirements

• Exceptional academic track record
• HR experience leading initiatives across regions
• People management experience
• Experience in business partnering with senior stakeholders
• Hands-on involvement in daily HR routines
• Experience in a remote first organization
• Able to leverage data for informed decisions
• Knowledge of HR practices and employment law across EMEA
• Fluent in business English
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
